CULMINATION REQUIREMENTS

1.   Passing all classes in the seventh and eighth grades.

2.   No more than a total of four “U’s”may be recorded on the final report card.  No more than two of those “U’s” may be in cooperation.

3.   Students must maintain a 96% attendance rate.  No more  than seven (7) absences during the Eighth grade year.

4.   All textbooks and library books must be returned and fines paid.

5.   Students are expected to adhere to the guidelines delineated in the student planner and may not receive more than one (1) suspension during each of the seventh and eighth grade years. Students with serious behavior problems may be eliminated from activities at any time regardless of academic achievement.

6.   Students must serve all detentions assigned.

7.   Students with disabilities are expected to meet grade-level standards and matriculation requirements. Individual needs, accommodations, modifications, assessment, and/or evaluations are  determined through the IEP or 504 process.
